Today the Eco Reps from KS1 and Year 2/3 took part in a litter pick in our nature area. Over the past few weeks, our nature area has changed significantly with the Autumn weather and most of the litter has been covered with leaves. Nonetheless, the Eco Reps were keen to search and were amazed at how much litter was found! The majority of the litter was sweet wrappers and crisp packets although they were saddened to see that some of the litter had come from adults in school such as plastic from storage boxes and laminated work! The Eco Reps worked tirelessly to pick up as much litter as they could find and were pleased with the four big bags of rubbish collected! They even asked if they could come again to help keep our school environment tidy! Look at how well they did!
