Maths

We are in full flow with our tables races this week - week 2 already! The children's scores are improving on a daily basis and we are so proud. In our Place Value unit we have continued to work on reading and writing numbers, and comparing and ordering numbers up to 1000.

Literacy

We are currently working on 'Scare at Shadow Fair', a Twinkl Original, focussing on vocabulary and retrieval skills. In our writing lessons, we have been working on the individual features of ghost stories, including fronted adverbials and expanded noun phrases, in preparation for using these within our own writing.
