2Logo - Team LF

This half term, Team LF have been using 2Logo (Purple Mash) to write code in order to control an on-screen marker, incorporating their mathematical knowledge, in order to draw shapes and letters. Throughout the unit the children have:

• Learnt common commands and constructs of the Logo programming language
• Developed their ability to compose algorithms for drawing mathematical structures and turned these into Logo code

There were strong links between 2Logo and maths, and it was beneficial for the children to think about their knowledge of angles when creating their coding language.
