This term we are exploring natural disasters and will be working in groups to create models based on natural disasters. IN preparation for this we have been exploring images and the impact of natural disasters. We have been developing sketches in our art books and exploring the use of pencil crayons, pastels and charcoal to represent mood and movement. We have worked on mixed media drawing incorporating photographic images and have begun to discuss plans for our final 3d model in our groups. Our artist of the half term is JMW Turner we have been exploring his techniques for representing extreme weather in his artwork.
