The Hungry Caterpillar loves to eat and gets through so much food!

Write a list of all the food that he eats or you could write a shopping list for him. You may want to write a list of your favourite foods too! You can use the Read Write Inc phonics pictures I added to your pack to help you write the sounds that you can hear in each word. 

The Very Hungry Caterpillar turns from an egg to a caterpillar, then creates a chrysalis and turns into a beautiful butterfly! Write about the life cycle of a butterfly by drawing the four pictures first, then write a sentence about each stage of its life next to it.

Remember to say the sentence over and over until you remember it and count the words on your fingers. When you have finished read the sentence by pointing to each word and checking it.
