Welly Walk - 4/11/21

Yesterday was Welly Walk day, we walked sensibly down to the Nature Reserve, making sure we looked both ways when crossing the road. Children enjoyed exploring the nature reserve and looking for different signs of Autumn. The children used the sticks to pretend they were fireworks going off, using lots of language to describe what fireworks sound like! We also used the sticks to make mark in the mud - some of us wrote our names and others made patterns. We practised balancing on the stepping stones. We enjoyed sitting in the chair in our shelter and pretending we were the Queen and King! 
We had lots of fun!
