Big scale marks

At group time today we were building our core strength and practising the skills we will need to be good writers. Firstly we had a go at ribbon dancing using our ribbon wands. We practised making different large shapes in the air including circles, lines going across and up and down as well as curved rainbow shapes. Then we transferred these patterns onto large paper using our crayons. The shapes we practised are all ones which we will use when we write letters. The children really enjoyed dancing and making their marks to the song "Happy" as it was Feel Good Friday.
