Edible sparklers

Today for our food activity, we made edible sparklers. There was lots of learning in this activity! First we melted the chocolate and then dipped a breadstick into it. We had to use our fine motor skills to dip and then move the breadstick around so the chocolate would stick to it. Then we dipped it into some sprinkles. It was quite tricky to get them to stick and we had to twist, turn and roll the breadstick. using our hands and fingers- a fantastic fine motor opportunity as well as developing our concentration skills.
