Today we had fun exploring a tray full of foam. This was a great sensory experience and the nursery children developed their vocabulary as they described it. They used lots of words including: sticky, cold, squishy, slippery, white and gooey! It was also good for developing mark making skills as they made different marks in the foam with their hands and fingers. Some children made lots of swirly patterns, circles and lines, while others wrote their name and drew pictures.
