Five Little Fireworks

Our new song of the week is "Five Little Fireworks." We will be singing the song together at group time and then we have resources in the Maths area so the children can sing the song and act it out with their friends as they play. Here are the words to the song so you can sing it together at home. 

Five little fireworks standing in a row,
Five little fireworks standing in a row, 
When one little firework decides it's time to go........WOOOSH!
There'll be four little fireworks standing in a row. 

Continue singing and take one away each time until there are no fireworks left. 
We are learning to show the amounts on our fingers and then find one less by taking one finger away each time.
