Hello everyone! I hope you are all keeping well and safe and have enjoyed spending lots of time with your families over the Easter break.
Our new theme for learning this half term is 'Watch it Grow' which is all about growing plants.
This week, our book of the week is 'Jack and the Beanstalk.' Here is a link to the book online so you can share it with your family:
After you have read the story, see if you can tell it with your grown ups. Can you remember all the events in order? Remember to change your voice for the giant and try to say the repeated words "Fee Fi Fo Fum, I smell the blood of an English man."
Can you design your own castle for the giant? You could draw it or paint it or you could use lego or blocks to build it. Alternatively you could make it using cardboard boxes or other materials you have in your house. Ask a grown up to take a photo of your castle and email it FAO Miss McGinnes to firstname.lastname@example.org. I will enjoy seeing your creations, Have fun!
