It's Bonfire Night!

Remember, remember, the 5th of November!
Our learning all week around Bonfire Night culminated today in a celebration in the nature reserve on our welly walk. Firstly we explored the nature reserve and collect sticks of all different sizes to build a bonfire. There was lots of teamwork and helping each other to carry the larger sticks and branches. Once we were happy with our bonfire, we all sat around it and sang the bonfire night songs we have been learning during the week- with actions! Then we all enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate and marshmallows around our "fire." 
We spoke about being safe on Bonfire Night and how dangerous bonfires and fireworks can be. The children all know they must stay well back with a grown-up if they go to a bonfire.
