Science Week

This week the children in nursery became Scientists as we carried out lots of fun activities to help us learn about changes. For our first activity, we mixed cornflour and water to make gloop and investigated what happened as we added different amounts of each ingredient. The children were fascinated by the texture!  

For our second investigation we explored ice. The children found out that the ice melted in the warm classroom but could be changed back to ice again by returning it to the freezer.

We also enjoyed melting chocolate! Once we had investigated what happened to the chocolate, we used it to decorate biscuits- yummy!
