Today the children in nursery have had lots of fun working together to create a big painting. We used a long roll of black paper and brightly coloured paints to create fireworks in the night sky. The children used brushes to splatter and drop the paint onto the paper to create different effects. They also used pipettes to carefully squeeze and then drop paint onto the paper. This was great for developing their fine motor skills. Finally they sprinkled glitter on top to make it sparkle.
We are going to use our fantastic creation to make a display in our classroom- I will post a photo when it is completed!
