Today we continued with our learning about dinosaurs on welly walk in the nature reserve. The children found dinosaur masks hidden all over the area and they loved using them to role play. They also found numbered dinosaur footprints which were great for practising our number recognition.
In addition to this, the children had a go at being paleontologists! They used small tools to dig and scrape to look for fossils and were amazed that all their hard work paid off and they found some dinosaurs! This activity required lots of patience and focus as well as excellent fine motor skills. Well done Shooting Stars- you were amazing!
