Ikonjane performance - music and drama workshop

Team LL were lucky enough to watch the really thought provoking performance of Ikonjane The Lightning Bird. The story touched on identity, migration, folklore, story telling and journeys. The performance was packed full of beautiful sculpture and artwork. Pupils also enjoyed engaging in a drama and music workshop in the afternoon. They also watched a film detailing all the work and different professions involved in bringing the Lightning Bird to life. Children enjoyed learning about a wide range of career opportunities in the arts- its never too early to start being aspirational!
