Local History.

At Wombwell Park Street we are very passionate about teaching history and enjoy learning about a wide variety of important and interesting eras and events that help us understand how the world before us shaped who we are today.

One area that we would love to promote is our local area! We believe it is really important for children to learn about our local area and any significant events or people so...........we would like your help!

We have a thoroughly exciting history curriculum but would like to enhance it with information about any people or events that are linked to Park Street's families! If you have any interesting information about family members that made a significant impact to our local area or have been part of a significant event in the past then we would LOVE to know so we can teach it within our curriculum and add it to our timeline!
