Autumn term in JF

At the end of Autumn term,  Team JF took part in a seasonal walk in Wombwell. The children were incredibly observant whilst being very sensible and safe. As we set off from the school grounds, we started to look at the changes to our environment during this season. We stopped at regular intervals to discuss what we could see and why these changes were occurring. As we arrived at our destination (a large open field space) we split off into small groups to explore the surroundings and hopefully tick off some of the autumnal changes. I was so proud of the way the children conducted themselves and how engaged they were in their learning. When we arrived back at school, we looked closer and some of the findings we brought back and discussed these. We then proceeded to complete our investigation pro forma as a class to present our findings.
