Flags of the UK

In Team EO, teh children have been learning about the weather in Geography, in particular day to day weather in each season. The children have also been learning about the names of the countries that make up the UK. The children have tried really hard to remember the months that are in each season. Team EO have also been studying about the hours of daylight and how these get less in Autumn and that the nights get longer.

n Geography, we recapped last weeks learning on the day to day weather in each season and the names of the countries in the UK. In Science, we have tried really hard to remember the months each season is in. We have also learnt that the hours of daylight get less in Autumn and that the nights get longer.
In provision, the children were challenged to draw or create the flags of the countries in the UK. Here is some of their fabulous learning!
