Team EO love snow!

Team EO were very excited to see it begin to snow this afternoon. They spent some time looking at the map of England and the weather forecast! The children were able to recognise the United Kingdom and England and they looked at towns and cities on the map that were close to where they are in Wombwell!

The children went outside into their outdoor area and spent time exploring in the snow. They used brushes to mark make in the snow that had settled on one their mats, but it soon melted so they moved on to mark making on the tables. Some of the children made snowballs by sculpting the snow and by pressing and moulding it together, and practised our throwing skills, by carefully throwing them onto the grass away from others. They explored their footprints and watched as they caught it on their clothes and in their hair!

Team EO had lots of fun!
