History in Spanish!

Year 2 and 3 have been using their knowledge of historical periods in Spanish!

During history lessons the children learnt the 4 time periods; stone age, bronze age, iron age and the Roman Empire.

Their Spanish unit for this half term is Britain through the ages.

This week they learnt how to say the following 4 time periods in Spanish! What a great way to recall their historical knowledge of the time periods and key vocabulary!

Stone age - lie dat de pee - ed - ra

Bronze age -  li dat de bron-say

Iron age - lie dat de hair-oy

Roman Empire - lay em-peer-i-ow  row-marn-o
