Team CH are enjoying their new history topic about castles. They have been learning about Stirling Castle in Scotland. The children have learnt new vocabulary and know the names of the different parts of the castle and have been able to demonstrate their knowledge to draw their own castle design!
Within their pictures they have drawn parts including towers, battlements, a portcullis and a gatehouse. They have talked about what each feature of the castle was for and how it helped them to defend themselves. Here are some of their drawings containing castle features!
