Revisiting Learning - Timelines, chronology and changes over time.

The Rainbows have a learning journey displayed in the classroom so they can recall and discuss the learning they have done that day, week or half term. The Rainbows are given the opportunity to discuss what they have learnt and recall key knowledge and vocabulary to help strengthen their knowledge, identify any areas where knowledge needs to be reinforced and so they can see how their learning has progressed over time.

There is also a timeline that is added to every week so children can see what they have learnt, and it encourages them to use vocabulary related to chrolonlogy, such as first, next, then, last, finally.

Here is this half terms example. Next half term it will be updated with new learning and lots of opportunities to review and revisit key knowledge!
