Significant Historical Individual - Nelson Mandela

This week in our whole school assembly, children learnt about Nelson Mandela and what a significant character he was to South Africans.

They learnt about what he believed in and why he did the things he did. They learnt about his background and how that shaped his future and that of South Africa.
