Today in our Monday whole school assembly, we have studied the famous person, Captain Sir Tom Moore!
We learnt all about Sir Tom's early life and what led him to be the massive supporter of the British health services, that he was. We learnt about his own visits to Hospital and how their help meant that he had an incredible amount of respect for them and what they do for the country's people. We learnt that it was because of this respect he felt, which caused him to want to raise money for them when they had to be on the front line, during the COVID-19 pandemic. What an inspirational role model! We owe so much to people like Captain Sir Tom who helped make many positive changes and changed people's attitudes during such a terrible time for many. He helped bring people closer together, and the world needs many more people like him.
