Stone Age - Team CB

​Team CB have been working really hard to understand the chronology through the ages. The class have explored where on a time line each Era comes, as well as working hard to understand how a timeline is constructed. We have looked at the key terminology of BC and AD and its relevance to other historical periods. Once the chronology of these Eras was clear, we have explored carefully the three time periods within the Stone Age; the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic eras. The class understand the varying durations of these time periods as well as that a Tsunami and the melting of the Ice Caps sparked the end of the Stone Age. We have specifically explored the tools used within the time and created our own adverts to persuade early humans to purchase one! The class are developing a really thorough understanding of these time periods and we can’t wait to explore further!
