Team AC - Black History Month

Team AC have been learning about Black History Month. The theme this year is "Salute our Sisters!"

Team AC learnt about Floella Benjamin who was born in Trinidad and moved to England when she was a child. They learnt about her life and when and where she was born, when she came to England and how she felt coming to a different country. Floella did experience adversity and Team AC were amazed at what she has achieved since moving to England. 

They looked at her achievements throughout her life and talked about why she is important to other people. What an amazing woman!
