Every year on VE day the country comes together to celebrate "Victory in Europe" when the Second World War ended in Europe. There are lots of programmes and resources online to learn lots more about this. The National Museum of the Royal Navy is holding a virtual VE day and hosting a free online festival including a swing dance class, reenactors sharing stories and from the fighting and the Home Front and a sing-a-long concert.
