We have had a super week in school this week, celebrating our 'Anti-Racism' attitudes as part of 'Show Racism the Red Card' work! We have held a number of assemblies in school and shared lots of stories about significant and influential people who inspire others to become 'anti-racists'. It was wonderful to see the school community dressed all in red this Friday to celebrate together! We have enjoyed a number of special events in school this week, including our start to the Mini Police event where we had local members of the South Yorkshire Police in working with children in Year 5. We also enjoyed celebrating our recent Boys Football Team's celebration, as they won 14: 1 against King's Oak! Well done boys! We are all so proud, especially in the conditions that you found yourselves in! Years 4 and 5 enjoyed their Wombwell Walk as part of their Geography learning this week, further compaing Wombwell to Whitby. Well done Team LF on the amazing community feedback! Park Street character showed all of the time! Our 18 100% attendees for 2022-23 attended Pizza Hut for lunch on Friday, which was a celebration event LOVED by all - well done and thank you for such amazing attendance results! Again, we had some amazing feedback from our local community who saw us there having fun! Well done Park Street! Get reading Park Street - another 'D Day' will be coming up soon! We also look forward to our TTRS even this week where all ECM Trust schools compete - go for it WPSPS! I hope you enjoy reading all about our week in school in the Newsletter below!
