This week in class, staff have been speaking to the children about the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II. They have celebrated her life and the devotion she showed to our country, over what has been an epic reign. We will be making sure we celebrate the Queen's life again as a full school. In Friday's Golden Book celebration assembly, we looked at Team AC's Art Club Queen Wreaths, which helped us to discuss all the different facts about Queen Elizabeth and her life. They were wonderful pieces of Art work and I can't wait to see them up on display with Mrs Fitchett's Art group work too!
The children showed great respect for our Queen as we all held a one minute silence, to think reflectively about her life and all that she offered to our country and gave her a big round of applause in celebration of all she achieved.
