Since his arrival at Park Street, Mr Smith has been keen to recognise those who show exceptional effort in their PE lessons. We have recently purchased trophies for 'PE class of the week' and 'Star of the week'. Well done to this week's winners, Team AF, Grace and Mason.

Recently Team LL have thoroughly enjoyed developing their: passing, throwing, catching, teamwork and invasion strategies whilst engaging in tag rugby and dodgeball. A huge thank you to Reds in the Community for delivering the Healthy Kicks programme in KS2. The children engaged in two session, the first linked to healthy eating and growth and the second linked to physical activity and games that are appropriate for the playground. Here's some images from Team LG's session with Jack and Shannon yesterday. Following on from the dance work in Autumn 2, we have been working on using another of composer Vivaldi’s pieces to create a wintery scene where animals are gathering food and building nests before hibernation. Towards the end of the half term, we will be linking our PE lessons with our history work and producing our version of what happened during the fire of London. This term's Just Dance Club is off to a start in the hall. Parents, we'll meet you outside Team AF's classroom at 4pm when we're all danced out!
