Last week Team CB participated in a fantastic tag rugby session. We discussed as a class the basic rules of the game. The pupils identified that when playing the game, you can only pass it sideways or backwards. Everyone had a smile on their face while participating in the lesson! The lesson was so impressive, that the class deserved PE class of the week award. Team CB were presented with the award on Friday in assembly. the announcement was greeted with a huge cheer by the children! Well done Team CB thoroughly deserved.Congratulations to our UKS2 Girls Football team who came 3rd in their competition on Wednesday. What an achievement! As much as they were thrilled with their position, the best part of the afternoon was meeting Barnsley Football Club's manager, Gerhard Struber. A huge well done to Park Street's KS2 Cheerleading team for taking part in their first competition. After only a few rehearsals, you pulled off a cracking routine and did yourselves and school proud!  |
