What an exciting half term! The Year 6 pupils have enjoyed building on the tennis skills they developed in Year 4. The children worked in teams to develop a space themed choreographed dance piece. We also completed classroom based learning on the importance of balanced nutrition. Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed our residential visit to Robinwood where they engaged in a wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities including: crate challenge, giant swing, sip line, climbing wall, knight's quest, caving, canoeing to name just a few.
Well done Year 4 and Year 5 you have had an amazing half term developing your tennis skills. Your dance sequences were practised and performed to a high standard. You also managed to learn about the importance of sleep in your classroom based lesson. I bet you can't wait for next half term you will complete your next dance unit, engage in tag rugby and develop you understanding of the importance of sleep even further.
This half term Team CB have been focusing on a range of Games and have been developing throwing, catching and aiming skills. They have also completed a dance unit and two classroom sessions on the importance of sleep.
Well done to the KS1 and KS2 children who have attended our afterschool Multiskills sessions. You have worked hard, tried a wide range of games and activities and developed some really impressive skills.
