Spring Writing in Team CT

As part of their History topic, Team CT are exploring the Great Fire of London. Their writing has been largely linked to this, with the class working to create their own newspaper article on the events of the Great Fire of London. To start the unit, the class conducted research before completing and interactive game linked to the events of the disaster. To ensure their writing was robust and appropriate to genre, the class focussed on using expanded noun phrases and speech within their writing. Once these were complete they read to children lower down school to support in their understanding of the event in future years. ​
