Gymnastics and Swimming - Team LF

During their gymnastics lessons this half term, Team LF have worked on being able to perform forward rolls and backwards rolls with a range of entrances and exits. Some of Team LF have found this to be quite challenging but as they have continued practising they are making progress. Last week, they used what they had learnt so far and incorporated a range of rolls into a routine. A few members of the team were confident to perform their routine in front of others and what a grand job they did!

On Thursdays, Team LF have attended swimming lessons at Hoyland Leisure Centre. The progress the have made in such a short space of time is unbelievable! Some of Team LF have removed their arms bands, some have progressed to the larger pool and some have even made it into the deep end. Although the children are all at different stages, each and every person has made progress and we cannot wait to see what is achieved by the end of the summer term!
