Over the last half term Team CB have been working hard to develop their netball and gymnastics skills.
In netball, the main focus has been on working to develop skills linked to passing and catching a netball. The class have had to think carefully about using the correct footwork, as well as skills such as dodging, marking and shooting. They have then applied these skills into a competitive netball game, where they were able to demonstrate their understanding of the rules.
In their gymnastics sessions, they have been performing sequences with low and medium level shapes, including pike, straddle, arch, dish and tuck. They have also created contrasting shapes where they have incorporated matching, mirroring and linking skills. In more recent weeks, they have been performing such shapes both on and off apparatus as well as developing our knowledge of balances and rolls.
