Junior Reader Leaders!

If you did not know, at Park Street we pride ourselves on the pupil voice we give to our children. Hosting the Junior Reader Leader meetings is one of the greatest privileges as our children are passionate and dedicated in their roles. 
What has been lovely to see over the last few weeks, is the ferocity with which our Junior Reader Leaders have attacked their new role as mentors to other children through school. Their coaching sessions have paid off tremendously, with staff through school commenting on how lovely it has been to hear our Junior Reading Leaders reading with accurate use of MTYT and Fred Talk to support our early phonics readers. The Junior Reader Leaders have also provided great feedback around loving this role. They are taking ownership, pushing progress and providing fantastic peer support. I could not be more proud of their achievements. Well done JRLs you are making Park Street so proud!
