Spring update - Team JD

Over the course of the Spring Term, Team JD have been working incredibly hard in their reading. They have been using the text driver 'WildLives: 50 Extraordinary Animals that Made History' to facilitate their writing and provide them with a deeper understanding of the way in which non-fiction texts are designed. They have looked carefully at organisational devices, subject specific vocabulary and applied what they have read to a range of different reading VIPER skills. Feedback around the text has been great with the class saying they felt it was inspiring and entertaining to read and that it was an excellent book full of wonderful stories of remarkable animals.
