Maths
Our focus this week was to recognise 3D shapes from 2D representations. We spent a short period of time revising the names and properties of 3D shapes before looking at their nets and ways in which we could decide what shape the nets made. We then created our own nets and turned these into cubes, which we took home with a little gift inside for our parents/carers. Literacy In addition to analysing features of instructions, we also followed instructions to make shortbread and then wrote our own instructions for others to follow. On Friday we had a very important job as all the other class teachers came to watch one of our reading lessons. It's safe to say they were very impressed by our attitude to learning, engagement in the lesson and our resilience to a more difficult text. A huge thumbs up to all members of Team LG!
