Maths
Throughout our lessons this week we have focused on multiples, factors, squares and prime numbers. We worked on methods to find square numbers and prime numbers and then applied this to test style questions. Whilst working on these questions we also focused on making sure we read the questions carefully and answered ALL parts of the questions.

Literacy
This week we have finished our persuasive advertisements, promoting the Magpie Cafe, Captain Cook's Bark Endeavour and Whitby's Bus Tour. We have then started to look at writing poems using descriptive language, including: adjectives, verbs, adverbs, similes, personification, alliteration, metaphors and onomatopoeia. Once we have finished our poems, we are going to be having a poetry battle against Team CB.
